Built for CASA S.p.A., the public housing authority for the Florence area. This was one of the first multi-storey public housing buildings in Italy constructed in timber, featuring 46 apartments across 6 floors. The residence stands as a showcase of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. All apartments are climate-controlled with heat pumps powered by the photovoltaic system installed on the roof. The building is NZEB-certified, in accordance with current regulations on reducing environmental impact and achieving zero CO² emissions.
